Document Management

An essential IIS tool is the document scanning via a Twain interfaced scanning device to provide an electronic record of the referral, and to avoid the limitations of paper driven workflow. In addition the IIS converts all scanned documentation into a DICOM secondary capture object enabling scanned requests to archived and distributed with the associated images.

Letter Management

The IIS enable locally defined patient appointment letters to be circulated out for each patient attendance.  The IIS Letter Manager interface allows a quick view on the status of appointment, examination information, maps and report letters. The Letter Manager features recipient preferences for print, fax, email and SMS   Appointment and Report templates are user definable by organisation type or satellite site type.
